Anything worthwhile to you requires your time, attention, and focus. While most days you may be humming along just fine, on others you may be in the throes of frustration, fear, or despair that others may not see on your journey to realizing your dreams.
I originally post this photo of the sculpture Rigel Angel a few years ago after unexpectedly meeting the artist, Eddie Rodriguez, and his wife Zorayda.
Eddie's sculpture represents (my personal perspective) heroically lifting oneself from the chains of any one of a million reasons we can get stuck. Because we all experience ups and downs to varying degrees that can tether us, it's a powerful visual.
If you find yourself in a temporary downturn, simple things can help you push the reset button. Taking a walk, getting some sleep, planting a flower, petting your cat or dog (fur angel), or focusing on something you enjoy can do wonders for moving yourself into your feel-better place.
This empowers you to then move forward rather than counterproductively attempting to do so when what you really, really need in the moment is the time-out chair!
To Your Realized Dreams!
